food and beverage minimums?

What are those!?

We believe your day should be special. So go wild, select any vendor you like.

The only requirement we have is that beer and wine be purchased through the barn. But, no minimums!

what’s included in the venue rental?

You and your guests will have access to the entire property, indoors and outdoors.

Facilities include the barn, air conditioned bride’s quarters, air conditioned groom’s quarters, food serving area, indoor bar, outdoor grain-silo bar, fountain, outdoor smoking area, and parking.

The main barn floor layout can be customized — head table, dance floor, guest round tables.

For weddings, all packages include a 2 hour rehearsal.

Select décor is included with your venue rental: Table runners, table lanterns, signs, cake stand, cupcake stand, donut stand, easels, wooden rounds, and various other tables for favors/pictures/signs/decorations.

Premium décor is available for rent. Please inquire, or see below.

what’s Not included?

Food service including setup, serving, bussing tables, and cleanup. Please coordinate with your caterer, or we can assist for an additional fee.

Chair rental for outdoor ceremonies is $1/chair.

Premium décor is available for rent: Table covers, chair covers, centerpiece options, glassware, chargers, utensil holders, chaffing dishes, mist cooling fans, and tall propane patio heaters.

Settings available for a ceremony?

Outdoor ceremonies are held around our pergola. Guests will have views of our outdoor fountain, the barn, and the scenic Vandalia Trail.

Indoor ceremonies are held in the barn. This may require slight reconfiguration of tables and chairs between the ceremony and reception.

wheelchair accessible?

Yes. Our property is wheelchair accessible both indoors and outdoors. Additionally, your venue rental includes 2 golf carts to shuttle those who require assistance.

Is the barn heated/cooled?

It is not insulated or climate controlled. However, it does have circulation fans and commercial sized ground fans during warm months and propane space heaters during cool months.

Because of this, we typically do not host events from November through March.

Alcohol carry-in and carry-out?

Due to Indiana excise regulation, no alcohol may be carried in or out of the property. For events with alcohol, we supply a security officer to assist with this.

hours of use?

Hours of use begin when you, vendors, or others arrive for the event. It can begin as early as 6am, and due to city ordinances all guests must vacate by 11pm.

All Saturday weddings include 10 hour use. Non-Saturday weddings can be rented for 2 - 10 hours.

All weddings also include a 2 hour rehearsal.

You can extend your rehearsal use time or event use time (within the 6am - 11pm timeframe) for an additional fee.
